Miami University Banking Club visits Chicago

This past April, our members had the incredible opportunity to travel to the Windy City - Chicago, an amazing trip organized by our Spring 2025 president, Kia Molaei. The club had the chance to visit and network with financial professionals at J.P. Morgan and CFA Institute.

Miami University Banking Club would like to thank Ian Chenkus, CFA, Claire Bewalda, Paul Baker, and Dawson Cosgrove for networking with the club and speaking on the panel.

A special thank you to Ian C. Radomski, Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for the

Midwest region, for taking the time to speak with our members and answer their questions.

We would also like to thank Christopher T. Vincent, CFA, CEO and President of the CFA Society of Chicago, for discussing opportunities in Fixed Income and Asset Management with our students. Chris was the former Partner and Head of Fixed Income at William Blair. He was joined by Catherine Drake, CFA, former Senior Managing Director at PPM America, Inc. and Immediate Past Chair of the CFA Society of Chicago.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made our visit so engaging and productive. The trip was an exciting and educational experience that reflects MUBC’s commitment to developing knowledgeable and hardworking professionals.
